Tallink Silja Goes Live with SeaFreight

Tallink Silja, a leading provider of passenger transport, cruise, and cargo services in the Baltic region, has gone live with SeaFreight, the cargo management module of the Versonix Seaware reservation system.

SeaFreight provides Tallink Silja with online booking capabilities for cargo trailers, drivers and their families, and various additional products and services offered onboard.

SeaFreight optimizes car-deck space by integrating cargo and passenger-vehicle utilization. It supports railcar and shelf configurations while providing flexible reservation capabilities. Its internet-based check-in function allows drivers and family members to check in. A complete set of required documentation can be easily configured and produced for all clients.

SeaFreight also supports customer agreements, annual discount management, customer allotment management, and complete invoicing. These capabilities are powered by Seaware’s flexible business rules mechanism.
